Tohatsu keeps your convenience and ease of operation in mind when designing every feature, including the canister style oil filter for convenient maintenance and the front mounted gearshift for easy maneuverability. In addition, an automatic choke and a compression release that eases tension on the pull cord means that starting is a snap. The shallow water drive allows you to operate your outboard in a different position for low waters. Advanced Engine Overrun and Oil Pressure caution indicator systems warn of unsafe engine conditions and will limit RPMs if the oil pressure gets too low, reducing the chance of any damage to your outboard.
